Brackenthwaite Farm is a special place, nestled within the heart of the idyllic and picturesque Arnside/Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). We are situated outside the village of Yealand Redmayne towards Arnside, surrounded by fields and woodland. On clear days there are beautiful views of the Lakeland hills, Arnside Knott and Farleton Knott.

Our four holiday cottages form part of an attractive 17th Century complex of limestone buildings set around a large private courtyard.

We first started offering holiday accommodation in 1976 with Keepers Cottage (sleeps 4). In 1988 we converted a barn into what are now The Old Stables Cottages (sleeps 4 and 6) and more recently, Brackenthwaite Cottage (sleeps 6) has become available for holidays. The cottages have proved very popular over the years, with many visitors returning regularly and people coming from all over the world.

Self-catering accommodation is available all year round. Short breaks may be taken between November and Easter.
